Mixed emotions

Our daughter in law’s sister died this morning after an 18 month battle with cancer. She was 36-37 and leaves 2 daughters. So impossibly sad on so many levels. As humans, we acknowledge death as a reality, then are devastated when it touches us. The family is both devastated by her loss, and relieved that her pain is gone.
For us, we have been cleaning like crazy people and decorating! This is our fireplace top. No mantel yet but it’s coming along! The church youth is coming tonight for the fire pit.
