I am camera

It is sunnier on the other side

This is a view across the Muirton Basin, a part of the Caledonian Canal in Inverness, that was widened into a sort of a lake. The idea, in the early 19th century, was that it would offer a safe anchorage for fishing boats. Unfortunately, this never quite took off. Now it is a safe haven for sea birds, and part of it is a rather ugly looking marina. I always forget, that in winter afternoons, the sun only shines on one side.
