Cardinal Season

Tis the season when the Cardinals will come out and play!  As soon as the weather turns cold, the Cardinals love to come out, looking for hand outs! This lovely lady had such bright splashes of orange/red on her whilst her male companion was still looking rather dull.

I had such great plans to go out early this morning but silly me forgot that the sun is not rising until about 7:15 and I usually get to work by then.  Ah well....maybe on the weekend there will be a snow fall in the morning that I can go out in  : ))  For now, it will be after work frolics only...
