Rain in Grey Lynn

The 0830 meeting had been cancelled, meaning that I was able to get from Auckland City Hospital via shuttle to Green Lane Clinical Centre well before the first new assessment was due for me to see. Time for a review of the notes, and a talk with the staff, instead of dashing from the shuttle to the unit and straight into the assessment. It seems that I now know how to use the programme for the writing of notes, forms and letters, so that one entry will populate all the standard templates I want to use.

Interesting what can give a feeling of satisfaction.

S' cousin from London (with whom we stayed for a few nights back in June) is visiting New Zealand and she is with us from tonight for a few nights. J's now got almost all the systems working in her house and is staying there while the last bits of work get done.

The rain predicted for the whole day actually arrived this evening, and I have tried to show how it was raining in the vicinity of the apartment while at the same time over in the west, the Waitakere Range was bathed in a somewhat anaemic sunshine.
