It's a new day

A fresh new format has been announced for the for the 2019 White House Correspondents’ Dinner. For the first time, the featured speaker is going to be an author instead of a comedian.

Last year Michelle Wolf  headlined the event and sparked anger among conservatives with her jokes about White House adviser press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Following the news, Trump used Twitter to say he might attend this year, and called  Wolf a “so-called comedian”.  Wolf responded, "I bet you'd be on my side if I had killed a journalist."
