Shield- no 6 sign

This looks like a shield. Very striking. 
I cannot believe that it is 55 years since JFK was assassinated. I was a school girl studying for my final biology exams. I had the radio on and the news came over. What a time that was. Would something like this shield have been of help at the time.???
