Food for a fit King

Love being able to eat again!

The wife tried her hand at Butternut Squash Bisque. Delicious!! But for one who scrimped between Halloween and Thanksgiving (and lost 20#) it was not nearly filling enough. so, to complement her soup, I created an entree' of sauteed whitefish encrusted with seared parmesan and toasted pignolias, garnished with red radish.

Yum!! I have no idea the "rules" for food photography. A top-down view was just too flat. Armed only with my speedlight attached to the hotfoot (and with the drool obscuring the viewfinder), I settled for a short DOF, immediately followed by a fork.
