The Window Cleaner....

Well it's that time of year....the annual Meditation retreat is this weekend!   So, it is all work and well, some play, around here right now!   Richard and Terry have been busy cleaning, vacuuming, organizing....and cleaning the windows!!!

I was ensconced in the mudroom glazing and then Terry came by to help me load the first layer of the kiln....and then i continued to load the rest while he glazed his few precious pieces!!!    He still had a few of his lovely clocks to glaze, so we have 2-3 of them in the kiln as we speak!!!

Snowing like crazy out there, which i think is a first for the retreat weekend!   Everyone is a bit concerned about how the folks will get up the Big Hill.

But on another note, the stress of this retreat is nothing compared with what we were dealing with last year at this time!!!   I was in hospital after knee surgery, and Terry came up to Sydney every day....an hour away....to help take care of me.    i arrived home the day of the start of the retreat, and had to sit and chop vegetables for the soup, for 18 folks!   so this year is a breeze i keep reminding him!!!
