I'll start with the good stuff. Tonight was the Senior Variety Show, and "Seenyas '13" put on quite a performance. The night began with the entrance of the MC's (Alyssa, Sam, Pat, Bobby, and Serrano) and then it was time for GangNGAI Style, a parody of the YouTube sensation "Gangam Style". It was the funniest video I've ever seen and I suggest you watch it IMMEDIATELY and tell your friends. While it was a tough act to follow, Maggie did a GREAT job singing "Sola, Perduta, Abhandonata". The MC's hosted a little game show in between acts and the popular prize was a baby picture of Bobby in the tub (over 30 likes on Instagram). Rich did some amazing stand up comedy, and I wish a video of that was up. Mike Squared performed "Landslide" and "Time of Your Life", and it was quite entertaining. Paulina ROCKED "Too Close" on the piano, and the Varsity Boys Soccer Team is the sole reason that I won't be reading The Life of Frederick Douglass tonight. They sang "Sherry Baby" and "Barbara Ann" and certainly dressed the part. I wonder what Coral thought... After numerous technical difficulties, Sam sang "Love Song" and sounded great! Reyes accompanied Jenna on guitar while she sang "Drops of Jupiter" it it was stunning. Wantagh Poppas was quite a crowd pleaser, and I'm glad they snuck it in there. It's about time the students had their voices heard in regard to this Wantagh Mommas garbage. Reyes, the multi-talented stud that he is, played the piano, made up a dance on the spot to the song he was playing, and finished out the song on the piano. As a fellow junior said, "[Reyes] IS talent". Christina finished out the night by singing and playing on the piano a medley of popular songs. She is so talented. Best Senior Variety Show that Wantagh has ever seen.

I love Wantagh, and everyone in it, but especially #seniors13. It takes guts to go out there and be seen by pretty much the whole school, so props to everyone who performed tonight.

That's it for the interesting stuff. The following will be the usual garbage about my day.

Some Australian guy that goes to Adelphi came to our Italian class this morning to talk to us about the high population of Italians in Australia, but it ended up being more of a Q&A about life in Australia. I scored another goal in gym soccer, and practically got into a fistfight with Peden. It was a great game. Kaitlin, Larry, and I went out to lunch with Tatiana for her birthday. We ate at The Pizzeria Formerly Known As Saporito's and it was delicious. Nothing notable happened before practice, and the only really exciting part about practice was that after our three mile recovery day, I got to choose the music for core. Tutoring and then see above.

Great day.
