My grandfather at the age of nineteen in 1896. Proudly showing his new bicycle. He had fifteen children, four of them are still alive. My mother, being the eldest among her siblings, is ninety three. Living on her own, in good health, keen and in no way weary.

It was rather difficult taking this shot without too much reflection. There's a blue shade over the dark parts in this old photograph. And the fact that it curled didn't help either.
Still, I am pleased to have a few of these old pictures.
