Pierrot Lunaire

An odd one, this. Schoenberg's Pierrot Lunaire being performed in the basement of the Invisible Wind Factory.

The most unlikely of pieces in the most unlikely of settings.

The effect was mesmerising. It doesn't get aired very often and is somewhat controversial. Lotte Betts-Dean delivered the Sprechstimme style of "singing" perfectly.

It's a long way out of my comfort zone, but that's good sometimes.
