Decking the Halls

Today I set up my stable. My grandfather (Mom's Dad) built this stable many many years ago. He died when my mom was only 7. He built many things but I think this stable was high on the list of my grandmother's favorites. When she passed about 20 years ago my mom gave it to me along with the Precious Moments nativity set to go with it. A year or so later my mom also gave me the Little Drummer Boy figurine. The Little Drummer Boy has been our (my and my mom's) favorite movie for as long as I can remember. The tree in the back corner was made by my son in preschool.

This whole set is filled with happy memories and love for me.
