Honey

We drove for two hours, walked for one to examine a portion of our 330 beehives which we have set up , in co operation with the Mbawemi Women's group in this 75 hectares of natural forest.
The local villages care for the hives in return for half the honey and we will process and sell the remainder as a way of supporting the orphan care centre.
On the day we drove 25 km on the most awful road, through a tea plantation to find the biggest welcome imaginable, in a small remote village.
We ate homey from a honeycomb, which was to die for: some days are so wonderful.
