Stir up Sunday

Unbelievably quiet day, after an early FaceTime call to Mt and the little ones as they ate breakfast.
Started by making the Christmas cakes (it being stir up Sunday of course!). It’s quite a while since I’ve made any of these, and the battered old Delia Smith recipe is almost illegible now, having been splattered and ripped and mended several times, but a very therapeutic exercise it was anyway.
Nipped over to Hobbycraft to get more wool for the snood I’m making, then back to do more domestic stuff and make soups for the week, prepare lobster mac’n’cheese for a treat for supper, and watch some more Netflix box sets.
I might be ready for graduation week....I hope so anyway!
