Peacock in hiding

Find this fellow under the fish tank when I put the filter pads away. He didn't like being disturbed and flew out. Don't think he survived for long in the cold.

GP appointment this morning to get a referral to the physio for my right shoulder. This is the last time that the surgery is open on a Saturday. Don't they know how inconvenient it is for people who work to see a GP during the week? Why do they organise everything around people who don't work, the majority of which are not retired or disabled, but chose to sit at home and claim benefits.

After GP we went to a garden centre to buy a new filter for the downstairs tank and 2 new fish. As C was faint of hunger (that was his story) and I was cold we decided to have coffee and something to eat. We got our breakfasts, but hot drinks were off the cards as their coffee machine leaked into the electric sockets, which were were giving a spark display. The staff decided to stand well clear of any coffee or tea making apparatus. We had Irn-Bru with our English breakfasts instead. It doesn't taste at all as it does in South Africa and it is a totally different colour.
