Rules of engagement

Stand with your legs straddled out as far as they will go, and reach down, down, down as far as you can, and if you are very lucky, and no-one has been there before you, you will get to the sweet rich nectar right at the bottom.

I chose this image out of many of the Painted Lady because I've never seen the proboscis reaching down like that before.
