Astonishing

We were going out for lunch and then Gordon suggested that we set off early and go to Haweswater, as it was such a lovely morning. We drove to the end of the lake, wonderful to be able to do this with so few other vehicles around. And then we were astonished by what we saw. Never have we seen reflections like there were today. Most of the time we just stood and wandered and looked; we found it hard to believe what we were seeing. Then the sun shone and I remembered to take some photos. 

We had a lovely lunch at the Bridge bistro. Now Gordon is off to Burnley - something to do with football. And the sun is still shining.
