Perserverance Pays Off

A few years ago these tree fellers came around and asked if we needed any trees or large bushes pruning. For any Irish reading that's not three men by the way (or is that too racist nowadays?).
We got them to cut back the Euclypt tree in our garden and since then they pop around every 10-12 months. He's itching to trim the very large Silver Birch out the front but we like it, especially when it's in full leaf, as long as you don't park beneath it!

Today his perserverance paid off and I got him and his mate to cut back the May Flower tree and also the large Bay Laurel.
Where you see the level of the Laurel, where he is in the photo, that was the height that it was all cut back to with the May Flower slightly higher so the lovely red blossom will show above it in the Spring.
