The Untrained Eye

St Peter Port. Guernsey

This is the lovely main town of Guernsey rising up from the sea in layers of streets. I think the church just visible, is on the site of a church built circa 1048!

The town centre is a hotch poch of old and new architecture with a strong French influence and a whose who of world banks very visible and housing one of the islands key industries.

Extra shows inside the town's library which was started circa 100 years ago and is well supported by young to old...included me who found it difficult to walk away from. And the Local Authority!!
