Nearly winter

Working all morning, an afternoon at a meeting and then a long work phone call - quite a mentally exhausting day. There was only time to take two photographs at Ferry Meadows before my meeting. The leaves of this young beech have thinned a lot since my last visit -  another gale and they'll all be gone and then it'll truly be winter.
