Alleujah!

Oh what miserable wet weather. We went off by bus to Bedford to see an afternoon NT Encore showing of Alan Bennett's new play, Alleujah. We both usually love Alan Bennett...but not this time. For me depressing and confused in its purpose. Singing hospital bound geriatrics! I appreciate the underlying political message but not the storyline that presented it.

Pic is taken as we waited in the rain at the bus station for the Oxford to Cambridge bus home....then fish and chips from the best chippy in St Neots. Home, snug and warm again!
