My brilliant friend

A real treat today to be invited to join my friend Jean for a celebratory drink after she graduated PhD at the University of Edinburgh. My blip was taken in a pub so the light isn't great but who cares. Jean and I worked together for over 12 years and a better colleague you couldn't wish for. I am just so delighted for her after all her hard work - and her contribution to research in practice. Congratulations Doctor Jean!

Jean, her family and some other friends were going for a meal but I'm now on the train home ready for an early start tomorrow.
