The Wild West

The Wild West. This is Glen Borrodale out on the Ardnamurchan peninsula. Its western tip is the most westerly point on mainland Scotland. We weren't out as far as that today but on the narrow winding road beyond Strontian it still felt like a hundred miles. While I have worked on this site before (a few years ago) I was beginning to think I had driven past it. The client said about 45 minutes from Corran Ferry and an hour of driving had passed without sign of the entrance.

We got off to a very bad start for reasons outwith our control and again I felt like we were racing against the setting sun. Anyway we got there in the end concluding in really quite heavy rain. (Hard to anticipate the rain when it was such a pleasant forenoon.)

Have a good weekend.
