We are sailing

Not a Karaoke event with a Rod Stewart song but instead off we set on our sojourn in the sun. Rather than wait for our allotted ferry tomorrow, looking at the weather forecast we tried to get on the early ferry today. No space but we were fifth in the queue for a spare space and were squeezed onto the shorter Lochmaddy Uig crossing. It seemed to be leaving the Hebrides in what liked it was going to be a glorious day.
Thereafter it was the standard drive south with the normal horribleness around Birmingham. We did however get to Cheltenham by around 9pm so not too late.
