Traditional farming

We cycled the Mae Taeng Valley in the North of Chiang Mai. We met the farmers at work in the rice fields in different phases of workmanship and could watch them planting peanuts and garlic. They use the rice straw to cover the freshly planted garlic from the sun – a perfect re-utilisation.
