Blue Christmas

A daughter of our group is the commander of a tanker, currently stationed overseas. We are extremely proud of her so the gallery girls are gathering blue items to send for a "Something blue 'cause we're thinking of you!" box. Obviously everyone would want a Lego Christmas tree but a blue one totally ups the ante, right? Now I'm trying to decide if I should disassemble it so she can build it herself or if I should leave it intact for optimal holiday cheeriness. What do you think?
