Another View From the Hill

Pondering the state of the world and the fact that when a president believes he is outside the law nobody knows what to do. There are no conventions, no laws to deal with such arrogance and lack of empathy. So existing laws have to be tested, and pushed and expanded. Sometimes I despair, but if we didn't have laws and conventions, things would be worse.

But then I look out the window. I drink in the beauty that is in front of me all the time, always changing, unpredictable, sometimes cruel, sometimes glorious. I try to tell myself to accept change, adapt to change without compromising my own values. Sometimes it seems an impossible balancing act. Then I look out the window again....
