Then the wind got up and the rain arrived in time for us to go out food shopping, and get a new tyre fitted on Mrs Rex's car. She keeps wearing them out by insisting on driving about in it. Later an appointment was made to get my eyes tested as everything seems to go grey and dark every day around 4pm.

Perhaps things will look brighter next year.
