The Fosseway

A trip to Clifton today to see a Sports and Exercise Consultant. He was very good and did lots of checks to see where my shoulder was hurting and then did a dynamic ultrasound which showed a deep surface tear on my supraspinatus tendon. Apparently it is not something that heals well and needs physio and time away from swimming. He had had the same injury and had been able to change his stroke and now swims 80 lengths a day. So all is not lost and good that the physio is a former international swimmer so can hopefully get me swimming again.

Dad’s op is set for lunchtime tomorrow. Fingers crossed for no more cancellations.
