Couldn't go far today

As I had an appointment to collect y new glasses, so I had a go at Dry Brush painting.
It's very simple and all you need is an old brush say 7 to 10, a tube of Black Oil paint, tissue, and two sheets of watercolour paper, though one sheet is only require for use as waste for cleaning the brush and checking how much paint is on it.
You also need a pencil to draw the outline
The technique is to put a small smear of black oil paint on the scrap paper and  barely touch it with the brush , as the next step is to scrup almost all of the colour back off the brush
This is so that when you paint the image, you only apply the merest touch of colour to the paper with each stroke.
With practice quite pleasant tones can be achieved .
The picture builds up quickly too,
The face by the way is purely imaginary, hope you like this first effort at a media new to me.
