Lucky dip

Muggins here, the newest member of Crook WI,  has volunteered to set up a second book club because the existing one was full and there was a long standing waiting list.   I discovered that Cumbria Library Service offer an outstanding service to book clubs, so to get us up and running quickly, I asked them to send us anything they could get to Kendal library quickly  They've sent this - "Together" by Julie Cohen which  starts off with the 80 year old husband swimming into the sea never to be seen again because he has dementia and is worried he will reveal a long standing secret in their marriage.  Not a difficult read but quite clever and I did not guess the secret. An enjoyable book, thank you Cumbria Library Service. All this for the vast sum £1.10 per month - that's for all 12 copies of the book.
