Thanks to my partner-in-crime Frances, I enjoyed my brief time on campus to deliver my teaching today. Then I trotted back to Waverley station to catch the southbound train, change services at Newcastle, and return to the parental abode.
My not-so-little sister collected me at Hexham station and - as I type this - is serving a delicious supper of tomato soup, roast gammon, cabbage, and boiled potatoes (that she grew in the garden). There are rumours of crème caramel for pudding...
My blip is of the tiles that decorate the fireplace in the drawing room at my parents' house.
Exercise today: walking (18,852 steps).
