Lovely catch-up with pal Christina over a baked potato in The Clachan today, then home to wash my disgustingly filthy car. In the process - of the car-washing, not the lunch - I've somehow jiggered my back, so am moving very warily.

Earlier I made a trip to my favourite supermarket, specifically to buy their gingerbread gin liqueur that I'd read about, but it was either out of stock or not yet in stock. Unfortunate timing! Needless to say, though, I managed to pop a few other items in my trolley, so it wasn't a totally fruitless journey.
