Withstanding the galeforce winds!

I struggled to keep my feet when walking down by the harbour this morning but keeping close to the Granary building was a help.

It's been a day of contrasts but the one constant feauture was the wind chill factor which was a real reminder that winter is waiting in the wings.

L and I wrapped up warmly and after her hair appointment we headed to St Andrews for a wee spot of Christmas shopping. First time for years that we had to pay for parking ... we usually park down by the harbour where there is no charge but the walk from there to the town is fairly steep .... not ideal when you have a fractured ankle and your leg in encased in a moon boot.
