Center for wooden boats

Went to check out the new building for the Center for Wooden Boats at the south end of Lake Union today…liked these planes in the workshop.  
 extra… from the new building looking at the old wooden boat center building (all H and I can think of is “who bails all those open boats?) and a view of the new place sort of from the old ( you can see the 2nd floor window the other shot is taken from) .  Wish we could talk our grandkids into sailing lessons there.  A stop for an excellent bowl of fish chowder on the lake on way back made the walk in the rain worthwhile.

Managed to just push the button and be done with ordering the family calendars today for big discount on Shutterfly.  The site gave me lots of technical  trouble tho … I need to get away from this screen… :-)    
We did also have a break to put up some Christmas  (It’s December so I can say the C word!)  lights outside when the rain stopped….oh my, there will be Christmas ships across the Lake in a couple hours….
