Snow Gear

These snow boots and chains were purchased for our special holiday, which is coming up soon, but it looks like they may be needed here first! Tried them out on the ice today and they work a treat:)

The holiday is our first ever cruise and we're going to Norway in search of the Northern Lights (among other exciting things!) We plan to go husky sledding and on a snowmobile safari, as well as visiting several towns on the route up and down the coast. It's a belated 45th anniversary present to each other and we're really looking forward to the whole experience:)

The UV filter purchased yesterday was supposed to make taking photos of snow easier, but I'm not sure that it will, so may have to think again.
