Penrith railway station

I acted as a taxi driver this morning, picking up friends from Penrith railway station. ( They were just back from 5 weeks in Aus & NZ ).

Their train was a few minutes late, so I had time to look around the platform...

Somebody had done a nice display of a weather forecasting stone, and the Cumbrian shepherds' counting system...

The whole station was looking nice and smart! Lots of nice flower beds too.

Well done Penrith railway station!!!
