soaring...

...through the clouds

is, what i believe to - be a raven - or perhaps a crow - sometimes i get them confused - both big & black - but this one came up out of the clouds - from off of the horizon very quickly - with wings spread and soaring high - i admit to being a bit startled actually

the closer he got - i found myself becoming distracted - wondering what i was really capturing - there amidst the clouds - it can be a tad disorienting - but still exciting when you've got - a camera in hand - knowing, ultimately it's going to lead to...
