Welcome to Narnia

Went over to Waddesdon Manor today - the country seat of the Rothschilds. It's lovely to visit around this time as the house is always beautifully decorated for Christmas. Part of the theme this year was London; trees decorated with London Buses, Tube Maps, post boxes, telephone boxes etc! Sounds odd, but it worked. There was also an 'Alice in Wonderland' section, and down in the Stable block was Narnia, where you entered the snowy kingdom through the coats in the wardrobe. Saw Santa Claus - he seemed to have lost his reindeer. Great fun - someone remind me I'm nearly 60.........
