Garden blip

Waiting in for a call from Lancaster Hospital to go for an urgent CT scan. Something is not right inside my hip following swimming the other day. Perhaps I should not have been doing breastroke so enthusiastically.  I have not been able to do breaststroke for a couple of years because my legs would not go out sideways.  Offered to pay to speed things up but they said they would send me a cancellation. No call, very frustrating on a sunny day.  Now I’ll have to wait in again tomorrow.

This flower appeared in a tub on our patio after a visit from my good friend S in October. I have no idea what it is. S aspires to be a landscape gardener and I have told her she can practice on our little patch. I await planting plans!
