Absolutely not made of green cheese!

Woke up this morning to see the crescent moon still high in a clear sky. I did try to incorporate Venus which was a little below, but there was not enough definition.
Our outside tree lights have malfunctioned and are flashing like a demented disco. So off the tree they came and we will need to seek a replacement set. After all, they are brand new!
Amazingly, the sky stayed clear all day and we went out this afternoon seeking snow on the mountains. There was a day ago but we couldn't get photos because of the weather so hoped for better luck today. Annoyingly the white tops had already gone. There will, I am sure, be more s**w soon enough!
