Class Presentation Evening

The Stonehouse Dog Training Club used to have a very grande evening for presentation of rosettes, trophies, cups and shields but I think it just lasted so long it was decided, a few years ago, to have individual presentation evenings. Still held in December each class has a training session and then presentations are made. Everyone gets something but as we'd only returned about 6 months ago, after a 4 year gap, I really didn't expect anything.
However, Jonty's name was called and he got 'Progress' rosette along with a SDTC carry bag, a multi-tool gadget, a rather nice gunmetal ballpen, and a torch with doggy poo bags in a rear compartment.
Celia, the club manager and instructor for our class, said he deserved an award for the progress he's made after having a four year gap. There is only one thing he won't do and that is a 'Retrieve', but then again he's not a gun dog, he's 11 years old, and he's totally lost interest in chasing after something that I've been stupid enough to throw away in the first place so why should be bring it back to me!
