Famous Torte

It isn't often I go in the kitchen to make a cake/desert so, when I do, I think I'd better record it in my journal. Obviously there's an important event about to happen....

Yesterday I was watching an old showing on TV of Delia making her famous chocolate truffle torte. Famous, in that, in the next few days, the nation's shops were depleted of liquid glucose! I had to make it this time!

So, tomorrow I have a visitor and, if my desert is an absolute flop, I have a safe option purchased earlier yesterday. More shots of the ingredients in Extras. I'll let you know.
