Christmas buns

So: 1st December. Lazy morning lying in bed with a good read and drinking a LOT of tea. Drove to see Aged P and Girl Racer and went to the Italian cafe for lunch and then shopping in Bluewater. Thank god for Aged P's disabled badge - the place was heaving but we were able to park bang outside House of Fraser.

Aged P is very easily panicked now; the dementia seems to have made her incredibly insecure so she needed a lot of hand holding (emotionally and literally).

Successful shopping, then the bleak midwinter drive home. TSM made an amazing caramelised onion soup with a floating ciabatta and emmental toastie in it.

Watched an old Miss Marple - love the 50s period whodunnits with Geraldine Mckeown - and suspect will be up for an early night.

This is a cheeky shop window snowman that made The Girl Racer cackle but I think baffled The Aged P - in her day Snowmen didn't wear red thongs and give you the come-on ...
