The Lozarithm Lens

The Old Forge (Tuesday 4th December 2018)

I took this from the bathroom window this morning when I saw how the light was falling on this goat willow. The camera fired three shots in quick succession but there is only one JPEG, so it must have somehow automatically created an HDR image, don't ask me how.
It was Gardening Tuesday this afternoon. Refna planted some 60 crocus bulbs as well as some irises, a new Boston Ivy and a rare variety of Virginia Creeper for the outbuilding wall, while I was busy cleaning the bird feeders and refilling the peanuts and sunflower hearts.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Jody Williams - Lucky Lou (1957)
Joseph Leon Williams (3 February 1935, Mobile AL – 1 December 2018, Munster IN)
Jody Williams wasn't a household name but his lead guitar work will be familiar to anyone who listens to Howlin' Wolf, Bo Diddley (including the brilliant Who Do You Love? and Diddy Wah Diddy) or Otis Rush or any number of records made in the Chicago area in the fifties, where he worked as a session musician as well as releasing a few records under his own name. The intro on this instrumental was lifted by Otis Rush for his famous All Your Love (I Miss Loving).
