By the river in Kaunas

Arrived in Kaunas late this afternoon and after dinner took a dander round the town. This church sits close to the river and, like many public buildings here, is nicely lit. I've added some extras:
the main square with what has to be the finest Christmas tree in Europe (so my guide told me :-)) the patches of snow are made from thousands and thousands of reused plastic straws with tiny lights through them. The tree is a construction and took about a month to build.
