The Tor Through Trees

It's Tess's birthday today so after a week of early starts with Sophie, we enjoyed a lie-in this morning followed by a trip to Wells for a gentle stroll across the fields behind the Cathedral and Bishop's Palace towards the village of Dulcote, where I took this view of Glastonbury Tor against a Wintery sky. It's actually about 5 miles away from where we were standing so full zoom was in order.

We had lunch at the cafe in the Palace grounds and have just got back from a celebration meal at one of the local pubs. Apologies once again for lack of comments. Life seems to keep getting in the way!
