Windsor Castle

Spent a lovely day with Mr W & MIL visiting Windsor Castle, we hadn't been there for many years.

Our main reason for visiting was to see 'The Wedding Dress' of the year which is on display there until the end of the year.

It was beautiful & the hand stitched veil was spectacular. We also saw the frock coat worn by the Duke of Sussex and a minature replica made for Prince George along with the bridesmaids dress worn by Princess Charlotte - such a shame that the taking of photos was forbidden :(

An added bonus visiting the Castle at this time of the year was the Queen had put up & decorated lots of Christmas trees that were matched with the decor of each room with huge swags over the mantlepieces :-)
