Close encounter with a stingray

Last dive of the holiday, really lucky to spot this, we dropped to 18m and had to wait for someone to descend slowly, then my wife spotted this a bit deeper and to the side, so went to investigate. It was just sat on the bottom, I didn’t want to get too close as I could see the sting in its tail, but i circled around it with the go pro from about 3m away. It was a good size, I’d say about 5’.

Holiday is over now, back on the sea plane tomorrow headed for home.
