Waiting.

I suppose if you’re a delivery driver and the person is not in then you have to find somewhere to wait.
We enjoyed Carmen and for once I understood what was going on as there were subtitles! Much of the music is well known and familiar too. I found the minimal scenery and modern costumes a little lacking in the spectacular colour I was expecting . A lovely evening though.
We walked back quite a long way to the station at Marylebone and enjoyed seeing all the windows dressed for Christmas.
I don’t think I had quite realised how poor the shops have become out in ‘ the sticks’ until I saw all the specialist stores available in London. Great to go occasionally, good to get back to country mouse territory again.
